I am a 42-year old husband and father. I was an avid computer gamer and DOF, F-stops and the like were foreign to me until my wife introduced me to photography. I began shooting during the latter part of March 2010 and quickly became addicted to it. I started this blog to share my journey and to learn along the way. Special thanks to my wife Eng who encouraged me and to all my friends in Blogosphere who shared their knowledge and taught me to further this craft. |

Is that your camera reflected in Mr. B's eye?
fantastic work here.
I am impressed, I have never seen a bumblebee this close! Joan
Wow.. those are really some very beautiful photos. Amazingly captured. Magnificent shot of such tiny creatures. Very detail indeed. It looks like a page from those interesting biology books on wild life.
The shot is clear and brilliant. The bumble bee is 'drunk' with pollen.
Wow - superb photos. I love the golden bits of pollen on the bee. Brilliant shots!
Under instruction to come see the bee and I'm not disappointed, he's a real beauty. Fanatastic as I know how hard it is to get a real good macro shot. Patience really is a virtue
Wow! super macros, too! Love the details of the pollen falling off on its head!
Incredible macros! The detail of the bumblebee is amazing! You can actually see pollen trapped on the bee!
That is unbelievable! Terrific shot. Wow - you are very talented.
Thanks for sharing♥
What lens do you use for this? And are you up close? I've got a 105 Macro but still getting the hang of it. It's got to do with patience right?
Awesome photos but the last one is brilliant. Love close up images:)
