I am a 42-year old husband and father. I was an avid computer gamer and DOF, F-stops and the like were foreign to me until my wife introduced me to photography.

I began shooting during the latter part of March 2010 and quickly became addicted to it. I started this blog to share my journey and to learn along the way. Special thanks to my wife Eng who encouraged me and to all my friends in Blogosphere who shared their knowledge and taught me to further this craft.

That is stunning...I want that kinda view and I'm at the beach. You must be somewhere tropical.

ruthi

awesome... love the sky's monochromatic blue hue. Very panoramic.

Dave, if it is any consolation [to me hahahaha] I suggest you should start a new blog where you can teach us [newbies and amateur or wannabes] photo enthusiasts some of your photo tricks. Since you are very generous enough to share your talent... it will be very convenient to just visit your blog instead of googling it. wink* Sorry I'm really lazy. hahahah

Ruthi is right. We all could benefit from more details about how you achieve your photos. Nothing like schooling your fans. This one is another eye grabber with such a calm aura. You should post this on Skywatch Friday, Weekend Reflections, and Sunday Bridges Series. It touches all those memes and would give you an even wider audience.

Mojo

My favorite color! Those blues are intense... and as always the composition is bang on.

Such sceneries are why God created the color "Blue".
