I am a 42-year old husband and father. I was an avid computer gamer and DOF, F-stops and the like were foreign to me until my wife introduced me to photography. I began shooting during the latter part of March 2010 and quickly became addicted to it. I started this blog to share my journey and to learn along the way. Special thanks to my wife Eng who encouraged me and to all my friends in Blogosphere who shared their knowledge and taught me to further this craft. |

I wish I could learn how to bring the color out like that - I just can't get the hang of HDR! I've read tutorials & followed directions (using Photomatix) & it just doesn't work for me.
There's a huge oak tree at my parent's farm that I'm dying to shoot in HDR - it just doesn't look like a good pic in plain format... it's just one of those shots I know would turn out in HDR!
This one reminds me of Kansas or something magical! I feel some motion to this..maybe a slight wind?
