I am a 42-year old husband and father. I was an avid computer gamer and DOF, F-stops and the like were foreign to me until my wife introduced me to photography. I began shooting during the latter part of March 2010 and quickly became addicted to it. I started this blog to share my journey and to learn along the way. I have been debating Tamron 60mm 2.0 vs Canon 100mm 2.8. Did you choose the 60mm because its faster. Does your comment mean you cannot put a reverse mounted lens on the Tamron. Sorry to be a bother...I am trying to figure this out for my birthday suggestion to my husband come July! I was also wondering about a set of extension tubes. Have you tried them? I love macro and right now all I use is a reversed 28mm.
