I am a 42-year old husband and father. I was an avid computer gamer and DOF, F-stops and the like were foreign to me until my wife introduced me to photography. I began shooting during the latter part of March 2010 and quickly became addicted to it. I started this blog to share my journey and to learn along the way. Special thanks to my wife Eng who encouraged me and to all my friends in Blogosphere who shared their knowledge and taught me to further this craft. |

Fantastic! :)
Superb beauty.
Lovely - it looks like a little world balanced on the leaf.
Yes, a life in itself or... a world of its own. Fantastic.
Wonderful. I've tried similar shots, but they didn't come out nearly as good as this one. *sigh* I'll guess I have to keep trying :-)
Hello, Dave! It's so nice to know something more about you - your story is incredible! You are lucky to have discovered your talent!! If we only knew what other talents we have, life would be more interesting and exciting...:-) Thank you for sharing with us the beauty which you see around you! Your wife has made you a precious gift and I believe it's nice for both of you to share one and the same passion! Well, I wrote this just now, because I was quite busy the last couple of weeks... What about the photo - I like the analogy with the Earth, still breathing. Water means life...
Nature's magnifying glass. Great shot. Hope things are going real well on the recovery.
Love the magnifying effect the droplet has on the leaf.
awesome! how did you do that? Send my love to Wifey and hope you are pampering her to the maxxxxx. lol wink*
Love the clarity of the water droplet! And the contrast between that and the rest of the leaf.
Simple and perfect.
