I am a 42-year old husband and father. I was an avid computer gamer and DOF, F-stops and the like were foreign to me until my wife introduced me to photography. I began shooting during the latter part of March 2010 and quickly became addicted to it. I started this blog to share my journey and to learn along the way. Special thanks to my wife Eng who encouraged me and to all my friends in Blogosphere who shared their knowledge and taught me to further this craft. |

hope she's recuperating fast, i saw in her blog she already started photo shooting which is a great sign! kisses and hugs to adorable Ysa! :)
Hi, did you do the HDR thing on this one? or is it out of the camera and edited a little? it is so sharp and clear I feel like i might get wet while looking at it.
The colors and the contrast are so amazing.
@Sandra,
the image is not HDR, i made the colours of the sky and sea a bit stronger and adjusted the rocks contrast selectively.
Love your processing here and I too thought HDR when I first looked.
The color of the sea is so beuatiful. The sky has so much drama so adding my Wow to this one too.
Absolutely beautiful. Your work always amazes me.
Very fitting name to the rock. I really like how you get the detail in the clouds and the waves.

Craggines versus calm. Lovely.
Beautiful scenery and sky, Dave! The colors are beautiful.
Another fabulous shot, Dave. I love the way the clouds are arranged just above the rock. And that one leaning rock is amazing. You have such a good eye for these things.
