my patience was tested with this panning technique, i find it hard to perfect.

I am a 42-year old husband and father. I was an avid computer gamer and DOF, F-stops and the like were foreign to me until my wife introduced me to photography. I began shooting during the latter part of March 2010 and quickly became addicted to it. I started this blog to share my journey and to learn along the way. Special thanks to my wife Eng who encouraged me and to all my friends in Blogosphere who shared their knowledge and taught me to further this craft. |

Ahh, but you make it look easy. The more I read about panning, the more confused I get. I think I'm just not meant to get it.

Nicely done.. haven't tried this yet.. not to sure about my patience thingy.. "smile"
It is very tricky, but I've seen yours before and this one also is about as close to perfection on panning as you're likely to get. Really nice job!
your patience paid off.
It does take some practice, but you've got it down quite well, it seems.
You're too hard on yourself, your technique is great. Nice blur of color behind him.
To me this looks real good!
Hav now looked at both your blogs enjoyed the visit will be back Kev
Fascinating, sweeping streaks of blurred colour in the background creating great texture contrasts to the bike rider! Love this photo!
I think this is hard to do . I havent tried this one for so long. You give me some inspriation. Excellent image.
Thanks for your visits.
we can't tell it was hard, it looks perfect to me, did you use the motion blur? i have not played with that yet. its really good
It looks pretty near perfection to me!
you made speed visible! Congratulation! It really looks good! have fun with the new style!
it looks perfect to me. love the vividness of the man in motorcycle and the blurry effect of the background.
You're a lot better at it than I am my friend! This is incredible!
Well, I'm impressed! You're just (too much of) a perfectionist I guess ;-)
You did it ! I know it is hard and it takes a lot of patience and shots ;o) but this one is perfect!
Ha a nice sunday!
