I am a 42-year old husband and father. I was an avid computer gamer and DOF, F-stops and the like were foreign to me until my wife introduced me to photography. I began shooting during the latter part of March 2010 and quickly became addicted to it. I started this blog to share my journey and to learn along the way. Special thanks to my wife Eng who encouraged me and to all my friends in Blogosphere who shared their knowledge and taught me to further this craft. |

beautful old rock, but the sky is the best part of the picture for me, it looks dark and threatning, yet the light is hitting the rocks.
A very dramatic shot with the sky so dark and the sea stirring.
The brown and the dark sky contrast so well!
I guess it´s was raining later that day ? :)
Great capture !!!
I've run out of adjectives to describe your photos - stunning, beautiful, gorgeous... And those rocks look like a dangerous place to be if the water kicked up!
Good angle, I like that! (Of course, had you expect anything else?) Your pictures always amaze me...
Unusual angle. Gorgeous rock!
Love the angle and composition as always, Dave! Such a beautiful place! Your photos are always the next best thing to being there and seeing it for myself! Thanks for sharing and have a great week!

The sky, water, and rock combine here to create a very fine photo!
great view ... but I cannot find anything red there? is it the name of the coast? greetings from kri
And again a great shot. Love the dark sky and the warm coloured rocks. Looks like a storm is brewing.
Dave, you deliver once again. Stunning shot
This is very beautiful and dramatic. Love the colors and the light :)
looks like you captured the spot called, end of the world. two thumbs up again.
what a great perspective. very gorgeous and appealing shot.
What a stunning sky!
This rock formation against the water is wonderful. Your photography really makes me want to return again and again to view it. What you have learned to do with your camera in so few months is amazing. You certainly have a talent for the medium.

Terrific shot.
beautiful textures.
Very big flat rock, makes for a great photo with the big crane in there too.
fantastic treatment.. looks like one could just walk right in.. other than the fact that if one were to they would get might wet.."smile"
beautiful capture.
Beautiful Dave. I'm going to replace my old desktop--the one of the water droplet that you did--with this one. I love the sea and the rocks, and the rocks, but I initially thought that the crane was a shipwreck.
the rocks look like floating in the waters... another Dave's amazing signature shot!
that is one solid rock. love the effect.
