I am a 42-year old husband and father. I was an avid computer gamer and DOF, F-stops and the like were foreign to me until my wife introduced me to photography. I began shooting during the latter part of March 2010 and quickly became addicted to it. I started this blog to share my journey and to learn along the way. Special thanks to my wife Eng who encouraged me and to all my friends in Blogosphere who shared their knowledge and taught me to further this craft. |

amazing shot. it's shell is shiny makes the turtle pops out of the background.
Excellent shot.
"Hey, what is this over there?..." We have a little turtle in an aquarium. If he lived a free life, I suppose his neck would be in this position most of the time! Where did you catch this moment??
He's too cute, isn't he? :) Nice pic indeed.
Oh I really like this shot, he's just swimming right along! LoL!
Thank you so much for the comment you left about my yellow flower... quite a compliment & very much appreciated!!!

A tricky shot to be sure! Unless this was an outdoor tank that is. And you got him in just the right position too!
Lovely, where was this taken?
wonderful! did you dive for it or is it taken in the zoo? all details are so distinctly to regognize ... I did not know, they have such a long neck ... I'm having a greek turtle since childhood, but it looks quite different. really great shot! greetings from kri
I've been by a few times admiring your work and never quite know what to say that I haven't said before so I end up not commenting at all. Your photographic work is amazing.

I'm feeling a pinch in my neck just looking at it ;-)
My, Mr. Tutle, what a long neck you have!
That extended neck makes it look prehistoric!
I absolutely LOVE this shot! What a magnificent turtle and you've captured him in all his glory.

A stunning swimming pose! And the neck and head almost look lizard like! Fascinating!

lol - I'm laughing at my sister's comment (Shagrat). It does look like it wants to be in a movie with Doug McClure in it.
Fantastic shot!
