I am a 42-year old husband and father. I was an avid computer gamer and DOF, F-stops and the like were foreign to me until my wife introduced me to photography. I began shooting during the latter part of March 2010 and quickly became addicted to it. I started this blog to share my journey and to learn along the way. Special thanks to my wife Eng who encouraged me and to all my friends in Blogosphere who shared their knowledge and taught me to further this craft. |

That is a very atmospheric picture. I felt I wanted to entitle it 'Peaceful Death'; there is something so serenly sad about it. And, of course, the colour is great.
Amazing how much emotion a blank mask can evoke.
Wonderful shot Dave.

Fascinating effect from light and shadow. An excellent, eyecatching picture.
the b&w was cool but this is REALLY cool.
Many times wearing, to allow ones own to fall.
An amazing picture indeed. Thank you as well for your comment, much appreciated. Please have a good Tuesday.

Spooky! :)
Very nicely done. I like the way the mask blends into the background. I like the B&W too, but in this case I think I prefer the color.
good job here. love the color. you don't even see where the red shade ends or starts. the two tone blended well. another great effect.
wonderful shot!

Tastefully sinister. Mysterious. Slightly dangerous. I like it in red best. Well done!
