I am a 42-year old husband and father. I was an avid computer gamer and DOF, F-stops and the like were foreign to me until my wife introduced me to photography.

I began shooting during the latter part of March 2010 and quickly became addicted to it. I started this blog to share my journey and to learn along the way. Special thanks to my wife Eng who encouraged me and to all my friends in Blogosphere who shared their knowledge and taught me to further this craft.

Gorgeous - what species is she?

@Don't Bug Me!, she's a falcon.

What an awesome shot of that beautiful bird. The detail and color is just fantastic.

Wow - what a gorgeous beauty! And she has a name?

A falcon named Olivia? Why not! I think it suits her.

Ooooo, I love Olivia! She´s great! So beautiful...

Fabulous detail - beautifully done.

Okay, I'm officially envious now. Never mind getting that close to the bird (which I can never seem to do), how on earth did you get that kind of sharpness? Seriously, what kind of glass are you using? This is amazing!

this is awesome, Dave. don't know how you do it, but it is just really awesome.
