I am a 42-year old husband and father. I was an avid computer gamer and DOF, F-stops and the like were foreign to me until my wife introduced me to photography. I began shooting during the latter part of March 2010 and quickly became addicted to it. I started this blog to share my journey and to learn along the way. Special thanks to my wife Eng who encouraged me and to all my friends in Blogosphere who shared their knowledge and taught me to further this craft. |

Beautiful, and thanks for the Church information. I find church windows too very beautiful.
The Ornate vs the Plain... very medieval feel to the whole thing.
Looking forward to this series of yours. I love windows they are like people's eyes to me, each on with a different character revealing something unique.
I too love windows. I have a feeling the windows you'll be showing in your series will be very special ones ~ like this!
Love the texture and color on these. Interesting that one has the stained glass scene and the other does not.
Oh love the feel of this image. The textural detailing is fabulous.
"Now, we all vote on whether we prefer the stained glass version or the textured glass". And then they kept both as a reminder.
Beautiful colour and texture on the stone work.
So many stories insides those windows. Great shots.
This looks like it could be the outside of the building in your "Priory" photo. And nicely rendered I might add!
Beautiful windows. I love the way they used two different types of stone for the framing. Was the plain window a replacement or is the stained glass side new?

Dave, a great capture! And this could have been a Sepia Scenes shot as well! :)
Seriously, your photos are among the best I've seen!
