I am a 42-year old husband and father. I was an avid computer gamer and DOF, F-stops and the like were foreign to me until my wife introduced me to photography. I began shooting during the latter part of March 2010 and quickly became addicted to it. I started this blog to share my journey and to learn along the way. Special thanks to my wife Eng who encouraged me and to all my friends in Blogosphere who shared their knowledge and taught me to further this craft. |

The thread is a nice touch! It's amazing how a macro lens can make anything interesting isn't it?
The common made extraordinary.
Nice...if only I could see that well.

I love!! Your macro photos always have great great details. Love the reflection of the thread in the needle. Love the combination of blue en yellow also. Another great macro shot, dave!
A very good example of extraordinary detail of everyday things. They take on a whole new life when shot like this. Well done.
And quite an uncommon picture!
Wonderful Macro with great colors. Fits me perfect as it is blue and yellow (as our flag) and it was our national day yesterday :-)
