I am a 42-year old husband and father. I was an avid computer gamer and DOF, F-stops and the like were foreign to me until my wife introduced me to photography.

I began shooting during the latter part of March 2010 and quickly became addicted to it. I started this blog to share my journey and to learn along the way. Special thanks to my wife Eng who encouraged me and to all my friends in Blogosphere who shared their knowledge and taught me to further this craft.

I always love your work - how close is this to the original. It looks like something out of a movie!

I would rather call this photo "The Door", maybe because doors are mysterious for me. And this one keeps secrets for sure! I suppose we see the "inner" world of the place where once probably there were steps and voices to be heard... A very strong atmosphere of abandonment!

~oh how i would l♥ve to be there each day...waking and walking out to such lush greenery...gorgeous...warm wishes and brightest blessings~

Wow, chalk up another one for you. Love the depth of the color and the lighting. A really beauty.

you always take shots that has a deep story and meaning behind, it is so wonderful, you are really so talented and each time you post a picture, I am awed.

This shot definitely tells a story and with this angle and composition you have made what probably is an everyday urban area look like a masterpiece. It's beautiful.

Don't know what to say... they said it all. Love the color and texture.

Middle Earth or Narnia - this really draws me in!
Texture and light are wonderful.

You can almost smell the mitre on this wall, and hear the hush of the scene. Superb!
