I am a 42-year old husband and father. I was an avid computer gamer and DOF, F-stops and the like were foreign to me until my wife introduced me to photography. I began shooting during the latter part of March 2010 and quickly became addicted to it. I started this blog to share my journey and to learn along the way. Special thanks to my wife Eng who encouraged me and to all my friends in Blogosphere who shared their knowledge and taught me to further this craft. |

It's so calm and beautiful there!
Lovely. Tripod? Like to know the settings here itself as they have started making some sense to me.

Wow! just absolutely stunning!!!
Great image Dave as usual. You seem to do a multitude of images but what kind of photography is your favourite?
Breathtaking.
Very nice indeed. Love the softness of the water created by the long exposure.
I feel like I've stepped back at the beginning of time or at least how I imagine it!
As always Dave - stunning work!
Thanks for your visit. :)
This is a beautiful shot of an area very familiar to my husband, a life-long sailor. The sea is so calm but it can change so quickly.

Hiya Dave,
Tell me about the 100 ISO.
I only found my ISO button today :-)
Took me two weeks. I haven't gone below 200 or above 1000 yet. Please explain to me why your selected 100 for this shot. It doesn't seem that sunny. Although yesterday and today were brilliant in Berks.

When we were on the coast of Oregon the past two summers we couldn't get over all the beautiful rock formations and wonder how those particular stones survived elements that others didn't. Very nice photography!
